About Myself

I am currently a Natural Sciences student at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge - since October 2013. I have two years of previous part-time teaching/ tutoring experience, and am able to assist in a variety of science subjects. I am also heavily involved in outreach activities, running a blog (www.passionateaboutscience.co.uk) about STEM opportunities as well as running a university outreach society. Since 2013, I have reviewed UCAS personal statements for various science subjects - including those of many successful Oxbridge applicants. Therefore, I am also happy to assist with UCAS/ Oxbridge application advice.

Tutoring Approach

I begin lessons by discussing any issues the student has had that week in class, briefly reviewing the topics covered the previous week or any homework set, then working through worksheets and past exam questions. I usually set a small amount of homework each week to revise the topics covered in our lessons.
